Do the counting with the whole class several times until they get the patterns down well and understand the routine. Next, use this worksheet or a similar worksheet and model for the students how to fill in the missing numbers by counting the pictures. Ask students for help while you fill in the sheet. After modeling for the students, pass out the same worksheet or another similar page and have the students complete it individually.
